Rebecca L Wilson

Rebecca Wilson completed her Master of Science degree in the Department of Zoology, The University of Melbourne. Her project investigated the molecular control of embryonic diapause in mice. In 2014, Rebecca commenced her PhD candidature at The Robinson Research Institute, The University of Adelaide. Under the supervision of Professor Claire Roberts, Rebecca aims to elucidate the causal connections between specific micronutrient deficiencies and placenta related pregnancy complications. A significant component of the project is to use radio-telemetry to measure blood pressure in mice fed diets deficient in zinc, vitamin D or folic acid across pregnancy.
