Sian Halcrow
Siân Halcrow is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago who has research expertise in infant and childhood health and disease in prehistoric Southeast Asia and South America. Her work addresses central archaeological questions of the intensification of agriculture and health responses during this seminal time in prehistory. She manages the skeletal analyses on several international archaeological projects in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Chile, and is funded by the New Zealand Marsden Fund, Australian Research Council and Fulbright NZ.
